"Floral beauties without a name“
(Translation from German)

Photography by Marc Remus Café-Gallery Siesmayer of the Frankfurt Botanical Garden

Close-up photography of leaves, blossoms, fruits, stems, stamens, styles, branches, twigs, blades of grass. Images without a name or title. Plants can't be categorized that easily. Experienced botanists can recognize dried banana leaves, bird of paradise, parts of mushrooms. This is not what this exhibition is about.

Photos emerged in colors, like abstract paintings. Sizzling red, silken white, loud yellow, lush green. Leaves arranged in military order. Bark with waterdrop, aerial photo of a landscape with mountain lakes. No limits are set for the observer's fantasy.
